At Productions Maestro, protecting your personal information matters deeply to us. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and what your rights are, in accordance with the Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information (Law 25) of Quebec. It applies to our website productionsmaestro.com as well as our photobooth rental services during your events.

We only collect information necessary for the delivery of our services:
Quote request and contact form: name, email address, phone number, date, location and type of event, as well as any detail you choose to share with us in your message.
During your event: photos taken by the photobooth during the event, including images of people who choose to use it.
Photo sharing: when a guest chooses to receive their photo by text or email, their phone number or email address is used solely for that immediate delivery. Sharing via QR code does not collect any personal information.
Website browsing: basic technical information (device type, pages visited) via cookies — see the “Cookies” section below.
We never collect sensitive information (social insurance number, financial information other than what’s necessary for payment, biometric information).

Plan and deliver the photobooth service at your event
Create the personalized photo template (first names, date, theme)
Deliver digital photos after the event (via Dropbox or Google Drive)
Allow guests to receive their photos by QR code, text or email
Bill you and comply with our legal and tax obligations
We never use your information for other purposes without your consent, and we never sell or rent your personal information to third parties.
By filling out our quote request or contact form, you consent to us using your information to respond to your request. During an event, guests who use the photobooth consent to having their photo taken by voluntarily using the equipment; those who choose sharing by text or email consent to the one-time use of their number or address for that delivery.
Promotional use of photos: we never publish event photos on our website or social media without the explicit consent of the client organizing the event. You can withdraw this consent at any time by writing to us at info@productionsmaestro.com.
Your information may be shared with the following service providers, only to the extent necessary for the delivery of our services:
Dropbox or Google Drive: for the delivery of your full-resolution digital photos.
**Text and email sending providers: for the immediate sending of photos to guests who request them.
Our web host: which ensures the operation of productionsmaestro.com.
These providers are required to protect your information and cannot use it for their own purposes.
Some of our providers (notably Dropbox and Google) host their servers outside Quebec, primarily in the United States. Before using these services, we assessed that the information transferred (event photos and delivery contact details) benefits from adequate protection given its nature and the security measures offered by these providers. By using our services, you consent to this limited transfer.
Quote requests: kept for 12 months, then deleted if no contract is concluded.
Billing information: kept for 7 years in accordance with tax obligations.
Event photos: delivered within 48 hours following the event, then deleted from our systems and sharing platforms 365 days after delivery. It is your responsibility to download your photos during this period.
Guest contact details: phone numbers and email addresses used for instant sharing are not retained after sending.
Our website uses cookies strictly necessary for its operation (security, performance, language memory). If we use audience measurement tools [TO CONFIRM: Google Analytics or other], these cookies are only activated with your consent, which you can give or refuse via the banner displayed on your first visit. You can also configure your browser to block cookies at any time.
We apply security measures that are reasonable and proportionate to the sensitivity of the information: encrypted connection (HTTPS) across the entire site, access to information limited to staff who need it, strong passwords and regular security updates to our systems.
In accordance with Law 25, you have the right to:
request access to the personal information we hold about you;
request the correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
withdraw your consent to the use or disclosure of your information;
request the cessation of the dissemination of information or its de-indexing where the law permits;
receive the computerized information you provided us in a structured, commonly used technological format (right to portability).

If a confidentiality incident presenting a risk of serious harm were to occur (loss, theft or unauthorized access to personal information), we would diligently notify the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec as well as the individuals concerned, in accordance with the law, and we would take reasonable measures to reduce the risks.
Complaint
If you believe your personal information has not been handled in accordance with this policy, first contact our person responsible for the protection of personal information. If the response does not satisfy you, you can file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (www.cai.gouv.qc.ca).
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date of the last update is indicated below. In the event of a significant change, a notice will be posted on this page.
